Probiotics for Constipation
Probiotics for Constipation. A good balance of good germs to bad germs is crucial to finding relief from constipation. Probiotics is the answer to IBS, Constipation and the depression that seems to come alongside these diseases.
Back in 1914 Dr. Edward Bach, a bacteriologist discovered that the bacteria in the gut of a depressed patient was also present in other patients who shared in the common diagnosis of depression. He experimented and found that if he took the bacteria from one patient who was depressed and planted it into a healthy, non-depressed patient that the disease would follow the bacteria.
Based on this information Dr. Bach invented the flower remedies that would alter the bacteria in the gut. With a little checking, I found that at the same time that Dr. Bach was doing his research that the refrigerator was invented.
That may seen like an odd thing for me to mention, but when the refrigeration became available, home makers did not need to ferment their milk to preserve the milk. Instead, the home maker would put the milk in the cold ice box, and the life of the milk was extended for 24-to-48 hours.
Now the problem. Fermented foods became out of style. There wasn’t a necessity for Mom to do all that work. The milk man wasn’t needed to bring a fresh supply to the homes by horse and buggy because his customers could refrigerate the milk. With the invention of homgenization, the life of the milk was further extended. Homgenizing milk rendered the milk lifeless, but that is another story for another day.
Humans have been extending the life of food with fermenting for thousands of years. Fermenting was a necessity. Little did we know that fermenting wasn’t only extending the life of our food, it was extending our life as well.
Daily eating of fermented foods is necessary to combat depression, anemia, fatigue, IBS and more diseases than I know. Please consider buying my book that will help you to learn more about probiotics with recipes and a plan so you too can be healthier.
