Instead of the baked potato try a side of yellow rice? A dinner salad. I had spinach with garlic at a restaurant. Yummy.

Order your toast dry or use honey- – never margarine. Butter is food. Margarine is fake food that your body cannot identify. It would be like eating a plastic flower and expecting your body to digest it. Honey on your toast is a better choice than butter because butter is animal fat from a sick cow. Dry toast is the best choice and dip the whole wheat bread to sop up the house salad dressing.

Always ask for sour cream on the side of your baked potato and dip bites of potato into the sour cream. This method of eating the baked potato will help you eat less sour cream. Sour cream has animal fat in it from a sick cow. I haven’t seen restaurants offer organic sour cream. In addition, the animal is probably a sick cow, so we want to eat less sour cream for two reasons.

The house brand is usually made on premises and is your best bet for not getting chemicals added to the salad dressing that will add to your additive and toxin levels.

In fact, try to get all sauces on the side. Most sauces are full of MSG in its many forms, so it is safer just to forget the sauces completely. Sauces are the number one targets for food manufacturers to add chemicals for that “exciting” taste. That includes all ketchup, mustard and Worscheshire sauce that is served at most restaurant dining tables.

Consider mayonnaise. Mayonnaise stays in your refrigerator for months and tastes the same. Mayonnaise doesn’t go bad. I have shoes in my closet that wear out faster than mayonnaise. Is it food? Probably not.

The same with enriched baked goods. You can find junior’s cookie in the car behind the seat and no self respecting ant or roach is interested in eating it! Roaches eat dust. Is the cookie food? Bugs don’t think so! Neither should you.

Another tip to help you lose weight is to eat slower. Most overweight people eat so fast you need to keep throwing water on their silverware so it doesn’t overheat. They are so busy eating; they don’t taste their food. Eating slower will help with digestion, too. Your food has a chance to mingle with the enzymes in your mouth. Try and be the last person finished with your meal when you eat.

Put down your fork, chew slowly and concentrate on your food. Get to know your food. Taste it. Savor it. This is supposed to be fun – right? So, enjoy yourself.
