Fatty Liver Diet – Beware of Bad Fats and Oils to Destroy your Liver!
Is there such a thing as a Fatty Liver Diet? Have you been to the doctor for your check up and the report is a Fatty Liver?
If you have been told you have a Fatty Liver, there is a diet just for you. First place to start is to remove sugar from your diet. Sugar makes you fat? Right? That’s no secret. So, I can do a little exercise, and then I can eat my junk. Right? I used to think that way, too. But, here’s a secret about sugar, did you know that sugar slows down your immune system? Ever wonder why we have more colds around Halloween and Christmas when candy is every where? And fake sugars actually cause you to lose brain cells? Every wonder why Alzheimer’s Disease is now an epidemic proportions in the United States?
Dr. Andrew Weil says it best, “Throw away foods containing artificial sweeteners, artificial colors, and large numbers of chemical additives. . . There is not a shred of evidence that the artificial, noncaloric sweeteners has helped anyone lose weight – the main reason for their popularity – and enough evidence of potential harm to exclude them from a healthy diet.”
Here is a tip: If you want a healthier liver, just tell yourself, “I will practice this tip for today.” Then tomorrow you tell yourself the same thing. You will be surprised how long this technique can work because tomorrow never comes, but the health benefits come quickly. The fatty liver diet is a slow process, but worth the trip.
Fats and oils – your liver’s friend or foe – chose wisely.
