You’ll need a 5 quart crock pot. I like the glass bowl, and automatic shut off. The one I use is below.

You’ll need from your grocer:

1 head of garlic, 1 pound of potatoes and 1 pound of carrots, canning salt (or sea salt) and Parmi – - that is stocked where the canned tomatoes are in the grocery store and it is in a carton – like what you buy milk in.

I also use a stick blender to puree the soup in the crock pot, add the Parma (above ingredient) use the wand mixer to blend again and. . . .it’s SOUP!
